Troy Bullock

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Bullock is a senior executive with a proven track record in high-growth public and private companies and over 20 years of international experience. Most recently, he served as CEO at Stormtech Performance Apparel Ltd, and prior to that as CFO at Ascalade Communications Inc., CFO at Norsat International Inc., and he began his career at KPMG. Mr. Bullock is a veteran of companies characterized by significant growth, international operations, and sophisticated commercial transactions. He brings strategic, operational, and financial leadership to Nanotech.

Doug Blakeway

Director and Founder

Mr. Blakeway founded Nanotech Security Corp. He is an entrepreneur and inventor who, over several decades, has founded and operated a number of successful companies both locally and in international markets. These companies have ranged from service-oriented firms to high tech electronic and wireless manufacturing organizations. Mr. Blakeway is quite active in the Canadian business community and at Simon Fraser University. He is also a director of Hakken Capital Corp., and Wireless Industry Partnership Connector Inc., as well as a member of Simon Fraser University (SFU) Surrey – Business Advisory Council, and an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at SFU Venture Connection.

Hyonmyong (Hoch) Cho


Hoch Cho is the Chairman of the Board of Destiny Media Technologies Inc. since March 2017. He is the managing member, since 2007, of Greenlaw International Management Company LLC, which manages Greenlaw International LP, a fund which invests in microcap stocks. From 2002 to 2008, Mr. Cho was a Managing Director of Forum Partners which managed several real estate private equity funds in Europe and Asia. At Forum Partners, Mr. Cho managed a worldwide team tasked with private equity deal structuring, analysis, and negotiation.

Dr. Bozena Kaminska


Dr. Kaminska’s academic career spans four decades and four nations, including a professor post at the University of Montréal and Senior Canada Research Chair in wireless sensor networks and Professor at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver. She is Chair of the Board of Directors for CMC Microsystems Inc. Previously, Dr. Kaminska served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer with Credence Corp in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Kaminska is a prolific inventor with major contributions to science and innovation.

Neil McDonnell

Chairman of the Board

Neil McDonnell has been President and CEO at Javini Holdings Co. since June 2010. He is currently chair of Agreement Express, ResponseTek, EDP Software and a director of Symbility Solutions. A recognized leader in the Canadian technology space, he was a director of QHR Technologies Inc. from June 2015 to October 2016 (acquired by George Weston) and CEO of Wurldtech Security Technologies Inc. from July 2011 to May 2015 (acquired by GE). Mr. McDonnell holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.

Ronan McGrath

Chair of Audit Committee

Ronan McGrath is an investor, corporate director and the Principal of Ronan McGrath + Associates Inc. since January 2009. He also consults on strategic issues to major technology companies. He is the lead director of Photon Control Inc. since July 2016 and chairs the Audit Committee. He was the lead director and Audit Committee chair of Symbility Solutions Inc. from November 2017 to December 2018. He is the former Chief Information Officer of Rogers Communications Inc. and President of Rogers Shared Operations. Mr. McGrath, a Chartered Accountant, is a graduate in Business Administration at Trinity College, Dublin.

Bernhard Zinkhofer

Chair of Compensation, Governance, and Nominating Committee 

Mr. Zinkhofer is a practicing corporate lawyer and partner in the Vancouver office of McMillan LLP, Barristers & Solicitors. He practices in the areas of corporate securities and related commercial matters including natural resource and technology transfer. Mr. Zinkhofer obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary in 1977, became a Member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1980 after articling with a predecessor of KPMG Peat Marwick Thorne and obtained an LLB from the University of Victoria in 1983. He has served as a director of Nanotech and its predecessors for most of the preceding 12 years.
